Meet the Staff
April – Clinical Technician
April has worked at Gottsegen Orthodontics for over five years. She enjoys building relationships with our patients, which helps them to have a pleasant experience at our office. She is a true team player and loves working with a doctor who is completely dedicated to his patients. Originally from Ohio, April moved to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and has loved every minute of her time here. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children.
Alice – Clinical Technician, Diagnostic Records Coordinator
Alice has worked at Gottsegen Orthodontics for over 30 years. She likes that her job allows her to be herself and interact with patients in her own, very personable way. Alice is proud that we treat each patient as an individual and not just as another set of teeth. She also enjoys going out for staff birthday lunches, which are always fun and full of laughs. Alice spends as much time as possible with her son and three beautiful grandchildren.
Karen – Assistant Office Manager
Karen has worked at Gottsegen Orthodontics for over 20 years. She appreciates working with a doctor and staff members who are so dedicated to their jobs. Karen spends her off time with her husband, three kids, and four grandchildren. She enjoys reading, cooking, and going to plays and concerts. Karen loves animals and even had a pet monkey as a child!
A.C. – Administrative Assistant
A.C. started at Gottsegen Orthodontics almost ten years ago. She works at the front desk at both our Uptown and Metairie offices. A.C. is great at remembering names and faces and loves seeing patients’ big, beautiful smiles the day they get their braces off. A.C. is married with one daughter and has a Shi Tzu and a sugar glider for pets. She enjoys working out and volunteering at her daughter’s school.
Huyen – Insurance Coordinator
Huyen handles all our patients’ insurance claims and correspondence with insurance companies. She takes pride in providing exceptional service to our patients and their families and is always available to answer questions. Huyen is getting married in early 2012. She loves Italian food, country music, and is a big fan of the show “Swamp People”.
Margie – Office Manager
Margie has worked at Gottsegen Orthodontics for over 30 years. She enjoys interacting with patients and their families and takes pride in the fact that we are now seeing the third generation of patients from families our office treated when she first started working for Dr. Gottsegen’s father. Margie is married with two children. Outside of the office, she likes to work in her garden and spend time with her extended family.
Stacy – New Patient Coordinator
Stacy has worked at Gottsegen Orthodontics for over five years. She is the first person our patients meet when they come in the office for the first time. Stacy works with Dr. Brad performing new patient consultations, and she also communicates with patients' other dental professionals. She always has a smile on her face and is great at putting anxious patients at ease. Stacy is a HUGE New Orleans Saints fan and is constantly adding to her collection of Saints paraphernalia. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Rebecca – Clinical Coordinator
Rebecca has worked at Gottsegen Orthodontics for over ten years and loves it so much that she commutes from Mandeville every day. She strives to create a very caring and personalized experience for each of our patients. If you’re an existing patient, it’s been a pleasure working with you, and if you’re a newcomer, she can’t wait to meet you! Rebecca is married with three children who take up all of her free time through their activities, which include soccer and dancing.
Anna – Clinical Technician
Anna loves the camaraderie and fun atmosphere we have in the office, but when it’s time to get down to business, we get very serious about what we do. Although we are focused on creating beautiful smiles, Anna likes to learn each of our patients’ stories. Anna is married with one daughter. She speaks Vietnamese fluently and enjoys running, reading, and interior decorating.
Sylvia – Clinical Technician
Sylvia enjoys watching the transformation our patients go through and the look on their faces when we tell them it’s time to get their braces off. Sylvia is newly married. She speaks Spanish fluently and is of Guatemalan and Puerto Rican descent. Outside of the office, Sylvia enjoys exercising, playing volleyball, and spending time with her family.
